We are on a layover in Madrid right now on our way home. But I couldn´t wait until we got all the way home to tell you what a wonderful time we had. Pierre Harris was our guide and could not have been better!!! He was gracious and informative without being intrusive. He especially got along well with my 17 year old daughter. They soon found they had a common interest in astronomy and he was wonderful at showing her things in the sky.

We did see all of the big 5!!! The leopards decided to wait until the last day to show themselves, but we saw two that morning; one in a tree and we followed one through the bush. We saw two male lions feeding on a buffalo for two nights in a row. I could go on and on….

Nkorho was wonderful as well…..Andre and Thomas were great on the safari´s.

I will write more later when I am home and see if there are any great pics. You are right, we fell in love with South Africa, the people and the bush.
