Welcome to DIY made easy.
The aim of this site is to help you, the average person, tackle those jobs around the house which you might have otherwise found someone else to do, and in so doing, spent a lot of your hard earned money getting a fairly simple job done.
We don’t claim to have all the answers, but with our knowledge and experience, we hope you will find the site useful. We have been in the maintenance business for four years and can draw from a wealth of experience, add to that our resident maintenance person who will strive to answer you questions should you have any (see our ‘Ask Clive’ link), we like to think that you will soon be tackling those jobs around the house like a consummate professional.
In each of the sections, we will outline the materials needed for the job, the tools required as well as whether or not you should have any help to complete the task. All the tools and materials used to complete these jobs are available at you local hardware store and although materials and tools may vary from region to region and even across countries, the basics still apply.
